Maestro is now Via.
Over the last few months, we’ve been planning the public launch of the Maestro marketing calendar and project collaboration platform. From the beginning, it’s been way easier to come up with new functions and features than it has to land on the right name. In fact, we’ve tried on three names while in development: Levers, Nucleus (which became the LLC), and Maestro. But none of them felt quite right.
Until a month before go-live.
As of November 3, 2017, the band formerly known as Maestro is now Via. We’re particularly fond of this name for a variety of reasons:
- It’s short.
- Via is Latin for “the way” or “path” or “road.” And that’s the big idea driving the whole system: Via helps teams develop their way, and be on their way.
- Via is a word that behaves as a catalyst – a means to an end, a way to get from here to there.
Other than the logo and the URL (which is now viaformarketing.com), nothing has changed. It’s the same team, the same ownership, the same commitment to developing marketing calendar and project collaboration features that help your team be more effective.
We hope you like the new name. Because we’re sticking with this one.
